Nobody has time to sit through a 45-minute sales call just to find out if they can afford a copier.

If you’ve ever tried to get a copier lease quote from a big national dealer, you already know the routine: fill out a form, wait for a callback, field a few follow-up emails, sit through a pitch that somehow lasts an hour, and — if you’re lucky — get a ballpark number somewhere around day three.
We built something different.
Do It Yourself. On Your Schedule.
At Ameritechnology, we give you the tools to research, estimate, and explore your options without anyone breathing down your neck.
Our online quote calculator lets you build a real estimate based on your situation — your monthly print volume, the type of machine you need, your preferred lease term, and whether you want a $1 buyout or a fair market value option. You get a realistic monthly payment range in minutes, not days.
No form submissions that trigger a callback blitz. No “just checking in” emails three times a week. You’re in the driver’s seat.
Why do we do it this way?
Because we’ve been in this business since 1984, and we know how office managers and business owners actually want to buy. You don’t want to be sold to — you want to make a smart decision. Our job is to give you the information you need to do exactly that.
What the Calculator Takes Into Account
Getting an accurate copier lease estimate isn’t guesswork if you know what goes into it. Here’s what drives your monthly payment:
- Equipment cost — the model you choose based on speed, volume capacity, and color vs. black-and-white
- Lease term — 36, 48, or 60 months (60 months gives you the lowest monthly payment; 36 gives you more flexibility to upgrade sooner)
- Buyout option — FMV leases keep payments lower and make it easy to refresh your tech at the end; $1 buyout leases cost a bit more monthly but the equipment is yours at the end
- Service contract — toner, parts, labor, preventive maintenance, and unlimited service calls are bundled into a flat monthly cost based on your page volume
- Overage rate — if you go over your base allowance, it’s $0.01 per black-and-white page and $0.06 per color page
No mystery. No hidden line items revealed only when you’re ready to sign.
You’re Never On Your Own If You Don’t Want to Be
Here’s the thing: DIY doesn’t mean you’re alone.
We’re a small, owner-led team based in Saddle Brook, NJ — and we genuinely like talking to our clients. If you run the calculator and have questions about which model makes sense for your office, or whether a 48-month term is better than a 60-month term for your situation, we’re right here.
No call center. No ticket queue. You talk to the people who actually know the equipment, handle the service, and have been doing this for decades.
We just don’t believe in making you talk to us before you’re ready.
A Few Things Worth Knowing Before You Lease
If you’re early in the process, here are the questions we’d tell you to think through:
1. What’s your actual monthly print volume? This is the single biggest factor in choosing the right machine and the right service contract. If you don’t know, pull last month’s meter reading from your current machine or estimate based on paper usage.
2. Do you print color, or just black-and-white?Color capability costs more — both in equipment and per-page rates. If 90% of what you print is memos and reports, a black-and-white machine can save you significantly over a 60-month lease.
3. How long have you been in business?Leasing through a third-party financing company requires at least three years of business history and a solid credit profile. It’s a standard qualification — not a hurdle we created.
4. Do you need the equipment to own it at the end?If yes, a $1 buyout lease is for you. If you’d rather upgrade every few years, FMV is likely the smarter choice.

Frequently Asked Questions About Copier Leasing
Yes. Our online quote calculator gives you a realistic monthly payment estimate based on your print volume, preferred lease term, and equipment type — no contact info required to get a number.
Every lease is paired with a service contract that covers toner, parts, labor, preventive maintenance, and unlimited service calls. There are no separate charges for routine maintenance — it’s all bundled into one flat monthly cost.
It depends on your priorities. A 60-month lease gives you the lowest monthly payment and works well for stable environments. A 36-month lease costs more monthly but gives you flexibility to upgrade sooner. A 48-month term splits the difference. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to walk through it with you — no obligation.
Leasing is financed through a third-party leasing company, so yes — you’ll need at least three years of business history and a solid credit profile. If you’re not sure where you stand, reach out and we can help you figure out the best path forward.
Overages are charged at $0.01 per black-and-white page and $0.06 per color page (or less depending on volume). We build contracts around your actual volume so overages are rare — but if your usage changes significantly, we can adjust your contract.
